Cannabidiol (CBD) popularity si booming online

Cannabidiol also known as CBD is experiencing a boom in online popularity, people are curious about the benefits of this non-intoxicating cannabis derivate. Researches show that online interest in cbd is currently equally ore more popular than any other health product in the market. CBD is definitely a trending topic online and google searches show millions of interested people who want to learn more about cannabidiol and its therapeutic properties.

Top players in the cannabis industry are already reacting to these figures and prepare solid strategies to have a strong online presence in order to capture as many potential customers as possible. Only in the USA there are about 6.4 million monthly searches for CBD on Google, increasing 160% compared to the previous year, it is absolutely booming.

That said it is important to remind ourselves that CBD is still subject to both, federal and state regulations. In 2018 Donald Trump approved all products on the federal level containing less than 0.3% of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) which we all know is the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis. However it is the states who have the final say whether those products are legal within their state or not.

Paradoxically cbd related substances are still not allowed by google advertising policies, cannabidiol is currently under Google’s unapproved pharmaceutical and supplements substances. This means google is missing out on a huge opportunity to make a ton of money by letting cbd companies run ads on their platform.
